Aboyewa, MS Oluyemi Aboyewa began his medical physics career in Nigeria, where he volunteered on clinical projects before pursuing a Master’s degree at Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska. There, he conducted MRI safety research in patients with retained epicardial wires following cardiac surgery. He is currently a PhD candidate at Northwestern University, focusing on the development of MRI pulse sequences for pediatric and adult patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices. His work includes the design of wideband sequences and accelerated cardiac imaging methods tailored to this challenging patient population. Register for the webinar

Uwadiae, DIMPCB Dr Iyobosa is a Board Certified Medical Physicist and currently serves as the Secretary-General of the Nigerian Association of Medical Physicists (NAMP), member of the NAMP Clinical Training and Certification Board (NCCB), Chair of the FAMPO Professional Development Committee, and member of the IOMP women’s committee. She is the Head of Medical Physics unit, University College Hospital, Ibadan, Nigeria and an Associate Lecturer at the Department of Radiation Biology, Radiotherapy, and Radiodiagnosis, College of Medicine, University of Lagos. She is passionate about the development of Medical Physics in Nigeria and the region. She serves on different committees and has initiated and coordinated several projects towards the cause of Medical Physics education, training and professional development.
