He has obtained extensive education and training from reputable institutions, further enhancing his expertise. He began his academic journey by earning a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, graduating with second class upper division honors. He continued his education by pursuing a Master’s degree in Material Science from the University of Port Harcourt. Speaker: Akintokun Adekunle Hazeez Akintokun Adekunle Hazeez started his career as a Regulatory officer at the Nigeria Nuclear Regulatory Authority(NNRA) before moving abroad on a scholarship for a post graduate degree in Medical Physics. Adekunle is a board certified Medical Physicist  by the International Medical Physics Certification Board (IMPCB). Adekunle has spent over a decade in the middle east working in tertiary Hospitals as a Medical Physicist in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine. He also served as the hospital’s Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) developing and implementing a comprehensive hospital radiation safety program. In his last role in the Middle East, he worked as a Senior Medical Physicist and was involved in teaching Physics and Radiation Safety to resident doctors, technologists and nurses.  He also held a leading role in many projects which include constructions of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine departments, cyclotron facility, accreditation processes (ACR, CBAHI and JCI).  REGISTER HERE
