Speaker: Lawal Rasheed Lawal Rasheed Segun received his Academic training in Electronic Physics from Federal University of Technology Minna, Niger State. He holds a Master Degree in Radiation and Health Physics from the prestigious University of Ibadan. A Ph.D. student currently working on the Assessment of Radiological Hazards and Heavy metal levels in soil, plant and water around a uranium mining site in Nigeria. He is a lecturer and Research Associate in Department of Physics and Astronomy, faculty of Physical Science, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He is a young and vibrant researcher with a research interest score of 74.3. He has published a few numbers of papers in web of Science (Thomson Reuters) indexed journals which are cited more than 12times with an h- index of 2. Currently he is an Associate Professor at the Department of Physics, Kaduna State University, Nigeria.
